Baked apples

Third blog post this weekend - this have to be my record in blogging. Never had done so many in two days. I made baked apples as I've been thinking for so many weeks. Now it's done. It's very easy. You can find a lot of recipes about it.

All you need is good apples, sugar or honey, butter, oil or vegetable fat and spices like cinnamon and vanilla. This time we used also almond flour. There are as many versions as makers.

Well one lesson to learn still. I just have to tell you that if there's no light there's no good picture. In Finland it's getting dark earlier than before so it means before seven pm. It's almost too dark to photograph...or it is. Next pic is taken seven pm with good camera. Do you know that when we are in December the darkness comes about 4 pm. Can you imagine that?

These apples were very good with ice cream.

  1. Hi Kreetta, congratulations on your blogpost record - I enjoyed all three of them. They look ( and seem to feel and smel, tool!) like autumn. Have a good week!

  3. I love your second picture, with a beautiful light of Fall, and with a tasty mood!! Me too in winter I watch the brightest hours to allow to photograph in natural light, but sometimes the days are really gray, right now in my area it rains a lot and some days is really impossible to photographing !

  4. Yes, that is so true. Tripod helps. But I don't like it so much....sorry to say. I like to move.

  5. Such beautiful photos! Darkness at 4pm would be hard to take. I remember being quite shocked at that when living in London. I like that you seem to have rituals during the different time of year.. fun to read. xx
