I'm looking for

I'm thinking my life at the moment. What it is and what I want it to be? I guess we have keys to our happiness in our own hands. But sometimes the hand is shaky and it's too hard to focus. And sometimes even though you try and try - you can't reach it. So what do you do?

It's like when I start to paint, I have something in my mind but when I've painted for a while - I lose the red thread and get frustrated. When I get frustrated - I want to start from the beginning... Our painting class teacher says that you have to paint few paintings same time otherwise it's so easy to overdo it if you know what I mean. So when you get stuck with one you can continue with the other one. Quite simple but sometimes hard to remember.

So is this a good advice in our daily life too? When you get stuck with one question or thing in your life - do something else? And never have only one project or thing or whatever going on? Don't think that only one thing can be the answer. Don't forget the other possibilities. You have a lot to choose from if you just give yourself time and possibility. I think this is a very good thing to remember.

Can you follow my thoughts?

What do you think at the moment?

If you want to see more thoughts of many go and see them here in my pinterest table called (should) you (know) think.

Have a lovely day!

  1. I think it's great advice and I always say, just put the question out there to the universe and the answers will sure come to you. It just needs to be intentional. Good luck with figuring things out, always exciting times in the life. Mel x

  2. Thanks Mel! Yes, it's very common that we have these questions in mind...they just have to develop that one can take action...that's true.

  3. I can just speak for myself and have found out I get easily distracted if I put too many things out there loosing my focus. What works for me is reframing the picture if I really want to succeed in something and don't do. Like I wanted so bad working more with ceramics but never went until it was very clear the space itself was not motivating. So I changed the workshop and I believe that has been a good decision. But of course, this a very personal take. Gudy x

  4. That is so true! Thanks for putting it into words, I keep forgetting things like these. I tend to panic or get frustrated if something doesn't work out but that doesn't help at all. Next time I'll try to focus on something else instead :)

  5. Hi Gudy and Jaana!

Great to hear your thoughts. It is very personal matter I guess - how you deal with difficult questions and situations in your life.

I think it's a good thing and maybe even enough if you see, admit or recognize that you have to make some changing with your direction...

And maybe you can go back to the matter you haven't resolved ;) if you want to.
