I decided to photograph my plants a little bit. The plan was to show you what I've been doing. Nothing big or nothing special. But one plan for this summer I have. I wish I don't have to buy salad from the grocery. I wish I can use only salad from my garden. We'll see how my wish come true! Do you have a garden? What you have planted there? What kind of garden is your dream garden?

My dream garden is green, rich and full of flavors, scents and colors. There are beautiful flowers like Helleborus, Hydrangea, Poppies, different kind of old roses, Clematis, Columbine flower, Peonies and different kind of herbs and vegetables. It's a place where I can work and rest when ever I want to.

  1. Looks similar to mine. potatoes peppers, herbs . . .perfect.

  2. Very cute. I guess you know this, but just in case: Be careful with the Helleborus, it's toxical, one of my dogs got sick because he ate some... (She's all right)

  3. Hello Hazel and Mia! Thank you! Yes garden is simple and fun. Mia, I know about Helleborus is is toxical...but it's so lovely. I couldn't resist. I'm careful with it. Promise :)

  4. Hi Kreetta, your garden looks wonderful! So many shades of green, wish mine looked like that.. Makes me want to start right away :)

  5. Hello Wendy!
Nice to see you here! Yes even small scale gardening gives you joy! I'm waiting my tomatoes to blossom and Marigold has just began to blossom. We are going to have a pretty salad !

  6. What a gorgeous garden. My dream garden will have plenty of healing herbs that I can cook, bake and make tea with.. flowers and plants that attract wildlife. Would also love some natives that require less water. Thanks for sharing your inspiring garden. May it continue to blossom! :)

  7. Hi Marjory! Thank you! Your dream garden sounds lovely. I hope you'll have it someday. Native ones - wild edibles are everywhere here. Thanks for stopping by!

  8. Hi Kreetta! Your garden looks so healthy and green! My vegetable garden is really small unfortunately (even though our garden is rather big). The soil is just too dense to grow more vegetables, although weeds grow there perfectly ;)
I'm trying to grow melons this year, and courgette. Also lots of mint, chive, potatoes and strawberries which survived the winter. The mint is actually going everywhere, so a little bit of a disaster for the other plants, lots and lots of roots everywhere :)

  9. Hello Judith! Thank you! Mine isn't big either - but quite a lot work needs that still. Watering expecially. We have also mint and it is growing faster than anything else :) and snails. But it's so great when you can just go out and get some herbs and salads from your own garden. Melons sounds delicious! Hope you get a great harvest!

  10. Hi Kreetta, it looks good and healthy! I wish I had my garden ready this year but we have to buy it. Anyway..thanks for your comment on my blog. xxx Ingrid

  11. Oh Kreetta, your photos are just SO beautiful!

  12. Hi Fathima!
Thank you so much !!! Great to see you here!

  13. Hi Kreetta,

What an inspiration you've given me! My middle child is so obsessed with growing food at the moment that I'm seriously considering starting a little veggie patch on our deck as it gets the most sun. I love what you've done with the lettuce. Beautiful photos. Mel x

  14. Hi Mel! Sounds a perfect plan! It is so great when you see seeds growing and plants too and plants producing some green treasures.
