Butternut + Font

butternut pumpkin photo by Kreetta Järvenpää www.gretchengretchen.com

Boo! I've seen many funny and scary costumes in IG and FB during this weekend. I didn't dress up this year because I took part in video sound design course from Friday to Saturday. I was planning to make something here for you to hear and see today but instead...we decided to work in the garden. We took everything away and put them to our garage because it's not summer anymore...we are waiting for snow.

We celebrated Halloween by eating a good dinner. We ate butternut pumpkin with white fish and other roasted vegetables and fresh salad. While my husband was preparing a dinner I photographed this pumpkin because it looked so beautiful. I didn't have my own camera or the lenses at home so I dived into my husbands camerabag and found Canon 650D and Voigtländer manual focus lens 90mm (that will be with cropped sensor about 140mm)...well this is the outcome. My husband likes to photograph stars so that's why he has his camerabag.

As you might know I love fonts and I like to play so I did play with cool fonts from a food carton that is well designed. Can you guess what is the product?

This time I wrote down a recipe for you. My husband does a lot of cooking and he never measures things so precise - he goes with the flow, if you know what I mean :)

I'm having a huge pile of things to be done next week. I wish I have energy to make things happen. I hope you have a good week ahead too!
