Welcome to our midsummer dinner table. This is a "latergram" but luckily in blogs - especially like mine - I don't mind to be slow.

I love the atmosphere of slow living. That is one idea I want to bring you with my blog. Enjoy of simple things. Making your everyday life enjoyable. I think life is not about waiting weekends, vacations - it's about now. You can make your everyday life much more nicer. But I also think people makes their own life and only they know what they want and what feels good. So I'm not judging anyone's way of living. But if I can bring you joy with my blog I'm happy.

As you can see I just can't get enough wild flowers and plants. I've noticed that older I get more satisfaction I get from the nature. The beauty and scents of different flowers and plants makes me smile and feel so priviledged. Pure nature and peaceful living. Who wouldn't like it.

One could also argue is it appropriate to have Indian style dinner when celebrating midsummer but I think it's more important to think what you really want to eat and not what you supposed to eat.

If you have been following my blog you have noticed that every time I don't have a precise recipe to tell you. Like this time I have about ingredients and some cooking information. My husband and I - we tend to make food with or without recipe or we follow a bit recipe but then we take our own route from there. Not every time we succeed, haha. That can happen in our food game. But I like to engourage you to try this kind of approach. I usually have a certain taste in mind and then I try to get there by thinking which ingredients and spices, herbs takes me there.

Dinner was tasteful and even though it was very good we couldn't eat the whole chicken ;) Next day we made risotto from the dinner leftovers.  We also had very nice dessert to go with the dinner. I made a meringue cake. The recipe you can find here. There is also crème brulée recipe if you have a bigger sweet tooth. They both are gluten free and dairy free.

It's always nicer to eat if you see a bit effort with the table decoration. Earlier on that day we took a little ride with the bikes and found these absolutely gorgeous wild flowers. I also have this thing with vintage so of course we had old plates, forkes and knives. Old plates are by Arabia, design called Fasaani.

Visually it's the best time of the year. Light and the nature are both so beautiful. It's been a bit rainy June but I heard it might get better on Monday so fingers crossed!

But before that I wish you great and (sunny at the moment, yay) Sunday!
