I love photographing food. These photos are taken last summer.

It's almost November. I saved this summer feeling post for you and me. It's a treat at this time of the year. See the light, warm tones and green garden. You can dream away to the summer.

But you know I actually like autumn. There is something great about this time of the year. You can just hide under the woolly hat and wonder around in rubber boots listening your favorite moody tunes...

...but you know I still miss the summer. New potatoes. Who can resist?

It's so different to make food in the summer when you have so many fresh and good quality veggies around you in your garden and their taste is so pure and delicious!

Trout with tomatoes and thyme. Looks good and tastes even better. Thanks for my husband.

During summer we eat at our garden. It means a lot to us. Our garden is not the most carefully taken care of but it is still very dear to us. This summer I started to cut roses and noticed that, hey they look even more beautiful when already faded flowers are taken away :) Those that are left gets even more strength to blossom. I love it, I love it! Can't wait for the next summer!

I hope I gave you some refreshing energy. Have a lovely week!

ps. If you want to see more food stories photographed in our garden, you can find Hanami Hot Dog here and Mexico here. One question. Would you like to see the recipes too? Or do you think it's more important to see feeling and get inspiration than get the recipes? To me it's important to build a connection and atmosphere in my photo stories. I like to think these posts are like small trips you can make in the middle of your daily life. What do you think?
